80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc. Tenuta Tignanello is situated between the Greve and Pesa valleys in the heart of Chianti Classico. The Antinori family have been producing wine in Tuscany for six centuries, and exporting it for four. The purchase of the Tignanello estate in 1900 marked the beginning of a remarkable period of expansion which shows no signs of abating.

A powerful Tignanello, the 2011 offers a combination of ripe, dark fruit and an underlying freshness, reflecting the vintage conditions. Plum and cherries mingle with mint and liquorice, creating a vivid, harmonious balance from the first impression through to the long, savoury finish.
