Description

Martin Miller’s Gin was established in 1999 by three friends, Andreas Versteegh, David Bromige and Martin Miller.

Martin Miller’s Gin is crafted at a distillery in the heart of England’s Black Country using a century old single, copper pot still named Angela and traditional distillation techniques. Angela was created in 1903 by John Dore and Sons, one of the oldest distillery engineering businesses in the world. 10 aromatic botanicals are used in the distillation process; juniper berries, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root, orris root, cassia bark, florentine iris, Seville orange peel, lemon peel and folded lime oil.

All botanicals except the citrus peels are macerated overnight in neutral grain spirit in order to fully extract their oils and flavours
The citrus is distilled separately in order to create a more balanced finish. After blending, a final touch involves the addition of a trace of cucumber which is used as a functional ingredient to achieve a dry finish.

In 2009 a non retail 10 year anniversary edition of only 1000 bottles was released. This was a higher strength gin at 54% ABV. Presumadly some of the 1000 bottles have been opened and consumed which makes it rarer by the day.

Im selling bottle number 773, and as you can see from the images its a pretty special looking bottle, which also comes in commemorative box.
