Description

ORGANOLEPTIC EXAM: bright color, light greenish. Fresh aromas of lavender, sage and lime with sulphureous smells from flint. Important acidity, with a vertical profile, and savory; length and aromatic persistence on the palate.

The Xurfus Filippi is a wine made of 100% Muller Thurgau grapes sourced from vineyards close to Localita Portadon at 590 metres a.s.l. The Xurfus Filippi is vinified through first a soft crushing of the grapes, static and cold decantation, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 20 days. The wine is then aged on the fermenting fine lees for six months with frequent batonnage. Low content in sulfites.

NOTES: “It all started by chance, maybe the fate as in the best of meetings, but I think it also depends on the FORCE VOLERE, from believing in the earth and its potential and knowing how to capture the best expressions of nature. that area, those vineyards, in Casteller south of Trento, kissed by the sun and caressed by the wind of the Dolomites. Tuscany symbol of Trentino viticulture and the City of Trento. In the winter of 2008 I was convinced that those vineyards should have an expression of those HARMONIES through a wine, thus beginning the challenge, the search for perfection, a path that will last years and which will impose the knowledge and research of the potential of each single vine, thanks to the help of Rossella Marino Abate (Marsala winemaker) We try to make sure that people, through our wines, can discover, know and share the EMOTIONS that they experience while savoring the fruit of hard work in the field “. – Mattia Filippi
