2001 Warre's Bottle Matured Late bottled Vintage

Late-bottled vintage ports are aged for longer in cask than vintage ports, making them approachable at an earlier stage. This is an affordable way to sample the house style of one of the very top Port producers. Lots of powerful cherry and plum fruit characters, followed by a warming complexity and beautifully balanced sweet finish.

Dow's Trademark Finest Reserve Port.

Dow's owns two of the Douro Valley's finest vineyards, Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira and Quinta do Bomfim. These were acquired in 1890 and 1896, making Dow's one of the first Houses to invest in premium vineyards. Dow's Trademark is drawn from the company's stock of best Reserve Port wines. This deep purple-black Port has rich mouth-filling flavours of ripe fruit balanced with a hint of black chocolate and peppery spice. This wine has been blended by Peter Symington who has over 40 years of experience in making great Port wines.
