Description

Two bottles of "Bonnefoy" Shiraz 2004.
Two bottles of "Le Bas" Chardonnay 2005.

This is a premium wine producer from the Margaret River area, but not easily obtained in the UK now that they have been purchased by Chinese owners keen to offer their wines into that growing market.

The Chardonnay is really delicious - rich and complex and drinking at peak I would say. The Shiraz, still quite tannic, would probably benefit from a year or two more in the cellar before drinking.
